I make a roundtrip on bali : Sanur - Pupuban - Bubunan - Lovina - Lake Beratan - Sanur
In Pupuban, there are some rice plantations to see.
In Bubunan, there are some hot water sources.
In Lovina, there are some beautiful beaches. We had also dinner in Lovina.
At Lake Beratan, there is a temple in the water.
Monday 21.9.1998
I make another roundtrip on Bali : Sanur - Batubulan - Singapadu - Bedulu - Lake Batur - Ubud - Sanur
In Batubulan, we see the Barong dance.
In Singapadu, we see some silver artisans.
In Bedulu, there is the elephant-tempel to see.
At Lake Batur we have a good view on the vulkan. We have dinner near the lake.
In Ubud are a lot of artisans with little shops.
Tuesday 22.9.1998
I make a 3 days trip to the Komodo island.
Outward flight : Denpasar Bali (DPS) - Bima (BMU) via Mataram (AMI) on Lombok with Merpati (MZ6520), in a Fokker 27.

I was on seat 9C. Short flight.
Tranfer with a Minibus to Sape. There we take a boat to the Komodo Island.
Wednesday 23.9.1998
At 7:00 we go on the island to see the giant komodo varans. They growth until 2,50 meter.
At 10:00, wo go back to Sape by boat. Then a transfer with a minibus to Bima.
Thursday 24.9.1998
We make a roundtrip in Bima and then we drive back to the airport.
Return flight : Bima (BMU) - Denpasar Bali (DPS) via Mataram (AMI) on Lombok with Merpati (MZ6521), in a Fokker 27.

In Tanah Lot, there are two beautiful temple. They are in the the see. You can go to them only while the see is in lowtide.
